Tour du Mont Blanc 24
The Tour du Mont Blanc is a 100 mile hike that circumnavigates around Mont Blanc, through the Swiss, French, and Italian Alps. Saying yes to this trip led to probably the best experience of my life. Here are some photos from that incredible trip.
First stay after a ~20 mile hiking day. That first beer never tasted so glorious. For context, each night on this hike, you (typically) end up at a mountain hut ("refuge") where the owners will cook you and everyone else dinner and breakfast. In other words, hike hard, relax hard.

"I think I just took the best photo of the trip." A phrase that we'd repeat almost hour for the next 6 days.

A lot of these climbs felt like they were never ending. This second day was definitely the most brutal of the trip. We didn't know what was coming...

Great! Time to go all the way down to the bottom (goodbye knees) and all the way back up the further mountain.
Put the camera away for a bit to focus on hiking. This was much later at night when we had reached our next refuge. We barely made it in time for dinner.
Guess I need to find the photos from the rest of the trip. That's all I got for now.
